Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CID Lyceum website, services, and educational programs. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Eligibility
Our educational programs are designed for licensed dental professionals and students in accredited dental programs. By registering for our courses, you represent and warrant that you meet the professional qualifications required for participation. You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services.
Course Registration and Payment
Registration
Course registration is subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel enrollments at our discretion. Limited spots are available for each course (maximum 10 participants per module), and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment Terms
- Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise specified
- All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to change without notice
- Payment can be made via credit card or other approved payment methods
- Multi-module discounts apply when registering for all modules in a track
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- More than 60 days before course start: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
- 30-60 days before course start: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days before course start: No refund
- No-shows: No refund will be provided
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course date.
Course Attendance and Participation
Attendance Requirements
Full attendance is required for all course sessions to receive a certificate of completion. Participants must arrive on time and remain for the duration of each session. Late arrivals or early departures may result in denial of certification.
Professional Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times. We reserve the right to remove any participant who:
- Disrupts the learning environment
- Engages in inappropriate or unprofessional behavior
- Violates patient confidentiality or privacy (for live patient sessions)
- Fails to follow safety protocols and guidelines
No refunds will be provided for removal due to misconduct.
Intellectual Property
Course Materials
All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, videos, and digital content, are the intellectual property of CID Lyceum and our instructors. These materials are provided for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without express written permission.
Recording and Photography
Recording (audio or video) or photographing course sessions is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
Liability and Disclaimers
Educational Purpose
Our courses are designed for educational purposes only. While we strive to provide high-quality training, we make no guarantees regarding clinical outcomes or the success of techniques learned. Each participant is responsible for exercising professional judgment and adhering to local regulations and standards of care when applying learned techniques in their practice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CID Lyceum, its instructors, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use our services
- Any errors or omissions in course content
- Application of techniques learned in your clinical practice
- Any interactions between participants
- Travel, accommodation, or other expenses related to course attendance
Medical and Safety Disclaimer
Participants in hands-on or live patient courses acknowledge the inherent risks associated with clinical procedures. You agree to follow all safety protocols and guidelines provided by instructors. CID Lyceum is not responsible for any injuries, exposures, or adverse events that may occur during training.
Account and User Responsibilities
If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Partnership with Global Implant Institute
Certain courses are delivered in partnership with the Global Implant Institute (GII). When registering for these courses, you may be redirected to GII's registration platform and will be subject to GII's terms and conditions in addition to these Terms. Registration, payment processing, and course delivery for these programs may be managed by GII.
Travel and Accommodation
Course fees do not include travel, accommodation, meals, or other personal expenses unless explicitly stated. Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and ensuring they have appropriate travel documents, insurance, and visas if required.
Continuing Education Credits
Certificates of completion are provided for all courses. Continuing education credits or professional development hours are subject to approval by relevant dental boards and professional organizations in your jurisdiction. We provide documentation to support credit applications but do not guarantee acceptance by any specific certifying body.
Communications
By registering for our courses or subscribing to our communications, you consent to receive emails, newsletters, and course-related updates from CID Lyceum. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time, but you will continue to receive essential course-related communications.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Barcelona, Spain, except where prohibited by law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
